Apparently i'm not the only one who didn't know that the library on campus doesn't open till 1 pm. during the summer of course.
In Case You Haven't Heard, Brand New Eyes and Crash Love Will Be Realesed Sept 29th! So that means Paramore and AFI finally got on the same page and in my honor and to save my sanity,they're releasing albums on the same day. Not saving my sanity would be touring at different venues on the same day when i want to go see them.
Partially in honor of this news, partially in honor of me meeting this hella cool dude, and the next partially because i thought you all might want to follow a funny interesting blog. follow mr. hunter burgan. you won't regret it.
So in other news I did make it to the Death Cab for Cutie concert on the 5th of July. AMAZING. Made friends with a girl named Bev who lives in Berkeley and interns for the manager of Death Cab. Woo hoo. Most exciting part of the night though was the HUNTER GURGAN was not only there BUT sat RIGHT in front of me!!! ha ha and i was only just hoping to maybe see him somewhere in the crowd of 17,000 people. He was actually really cool about me coming up to him and asking for his autograph FML that i didn't bring my camera. I KNEW i should have but i had no new batteries to put in it. Oh well. I was surprised though that only i asked him for his autograph and one guy asked him for a picture when he went to go get popcorn. Did nobody recognize him?
so i'm actually just on the internet being bored WAITING for someone to drop this proseminar class so i can sign up for it. I hate trying to add classes the first day of school.
I am also deciding to go back to veganism. Its a little weird right now because i haven't gone shopping for vegan food yet so i'm just clearing out my cabinets of what i do have to eat that is vegan. the rest is donated to the hungry roommate foundation. I'm mainly doing it for health reasons. I find i eat healthier and feel better when i'm vegan. Like today i've already had my protein and a few fruit. Anyone know of some good vegan meals or recipes?
Got to meet with Bob Blumenfield yesterday. Don't know why i was so excited about it, but it was pretty exciting. He's really nice really down to earth and talking to him made you realize why you intern for him. it's just a great experience to work for someone who feels the same way as you about certain issues such as IHHS.
