I really want a mcflurry right now... snickers or m&m though?

Finally cleaned my laptop screen for the first time since... i cant remember. i swear i do luv my macbook... i just sometimes have a hard time showing it. Found out what a Monte Cristo sandwich is for the first time tonight. NOT what i expected. It's a 5 layer sandwich (egg bread, ham,egg bread, turkey, egg bread) fried and then cut into 4's. think of it like a meat french toast. ehhh.

Grad schools are stressing THE FUCK outta me. You have no idea. I feel like NONE of  the schools i'll be applying to will accept me. There are even some i'm not applying to because i don't come anywhere close to the requirements. I feel like i failed myself those first 3 years @ moorpark. But who knows, maybe if i don't get in anywhere i'll take 2 years off and take some classes because i'll be more motivated and put some money aside.

i'll be in NYC/NJ in 2 month time. Thank god. I feel like something needs to go right, not that i deserve it, but if something could go right, i might not be so tense and feeling like my world is about to fall apart.

99.99999% of the time i would say i could care less about the killers. personally i have nothing for them and nothing against them. But there is one song i have a slight obsession for: Under the Gun. not sure why it's so catchy and hopefully you all don't think i've sold out my musical taste. i really haven't. i stumbled upon this song after b gave me her itunes library and i kinda got hooked.

She's got her halo and wings
Hidden under his eyes
But she's an angel for sure
She just can't stop telling lies
But it's too late for his love
Already caught in a trap
His angel's kiss was a joke
And she is not coming back

Because heaven sends and heaven takes
Crashing cars in his brain
Keep him tied up to a dream
And only she can set him free
And then he says to me

Kill me now, kill me now, kill me now, kill me now
Kill me now, kill me now, kill me now, kill me now

Yeah she's got a criminal mind
He's got a reason to pray
His life is under the gun
He's got to hold every day

Now he just wants to wake up
Yeah, just to prove it's a dream
Cause she's an angel for sure
But that remains to be seen

Because heaven sends and heaven takes
Crashing cars in his brain
Keep him tied up to a dream
And only she can set him free
And then he says to me

Kill me now, kill me now, kill me now, kill me now
Kill me now, kill me now, kill me now, kill me now

Stupid on the streets of London
James Dean in the rain
Without her it's not the same
The same, the same, but it's alright

Because heaven sends and heaven takes
Crashing cars in his brain
Keep him tied up to a dream
And only she can set him free
And then he says to me

Kill me now, kill me now, kill me now, kill me now
Kill me now, kill me now, kill me now, kill me now
Again and again

no pictures tonight... to much studying and stressing to get back to. ughhh... next time though i promise. Now onto getting me that mcflurry...

Change in Every Little Desire, We Were Counting on Forces We Could Not Control

Getting ready for the GRE's and just studying in general for school. Sunny Day Real Estate show tonight @ the Fonda Music Box. A lot of the shows i'm attending this year are @ venues i haven't been to before. The roxy for augustana for example was the first one for this year and it was a great little venue. Way smaller than i imagined but it made me love it even more. I was supposed to go to the Hollywood Palladium for Paramore about 10 days ago but the show got cancelled due to Hayley's laryngitis. Nonetheless tonight's show is @ the Fonda Music Box and i'm excited to go and see what it's like. Unlike most shows where i get there on time and all that jazz, i'm not in the mood to stand around for opening bands. What happened to the day when it was one opening band and then the main band? it wasn't that long ago, but more and more i'm seeing 2 usually but sometimes 3 opening acts. I love music and hearing new stuff, but sometimes i don't want to stand for 6 hours like i had to @ the Augustana concert. So i'll show up a little bit before SDRE goes on and have a good time in the back. Who says you need to be @ the front to have a good time anyway?

But actually the main reason for this update is to share a few of my favorite things which i have recieved in the mail this week.
1. recieved a few things from New Zealand

best candy ever? possibly...if you exclude anything with chocolate of course

 2. If you're a movie lover, and if you're a friend of mine you had better have seen and atleast appreciate, if not LOVE , this movie...

Wes Anderson is one of the 4 or 5 directors i can never tire of. The other directors on this list are Alfred Hitchcock and Woody Allen. But i'm also leaving a little wiggle room in case i find another director i can feel the urge to rewatch again.

Okay, so off to more studying and eventual suicide. Want to eventually find the time to create a top 100 favorite songs list. Probably won't get done until my 5 1/2 hour flight to New Jersey, but we'll see.
